i don't have to pick one. neither do you.
i'm tiffany snow. i write. i build. i raise two daughters. i live in saint louis, missouri.
for eight years i worked inside a fintech, building products and watching the feed eat the parts of people i loved most. forbes named me one of the next 1000 in 2021. i've spent the years since splitting my time between a beauty laboratory, a code editor, and a substack draft.
none of those things were supposed to belong on the same person. that is the lie of the age. you are supposed to pick a thing and become it. you are supposed to be optimized, predictable, niched, easy for the algorithm to understand.
all too human is the publication for the part of me that refused. and for everyone reading who refuses too. you can write and build and make. you can be a serious thinker and have soft hands. you can be a scientist and a poet. you can be a mother and a founder. you can be a black woman and the most relevant voice in three different rooms in the same week.
this is a record of all of it. essays on the desk. things made on the keyboard. one human, on purpose, in public.
made to be human. that's the whole brief.
